Dr. L.Simonyan studied Biology at the Vanadzor State University, Armenia and graduated as MS in 2002. She then joined the research group of Prof. Kazaryan at the L.A.Orbeli Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia at the position of young scientist. She received her PhD degree in 2011 at the same institution. After in 2015 moved to laboratory of Integrative Biology supervised by Prof. Sargsyan at the position of researcher. She has published more than 40 research articles in journals
