Abstract:

It is assumed that during the period 2009-2016, a scientific discovery of exceptional importance was made in Ukraine. The essence of this supposed discovery is briefly outlined in [1a]. Humanity and the entire Biosphere are on the threshold of a sharp transition to the next stage of their evolutionary development, from which they are separated by the “distance of a proof-of-concept experiment.” This experiment is intended to confirm the effectiveness of the method for eliminating cancer and the risk of its occurrence [2]. According to the supposed discovery, solving the problem of cancer using the proposed method should serve as a trigger for solving other human problems: a) extending human life beyond its current species-specific limit; b) solving humanity’s food problem; c) establishing human control over the global climate, including global warming (GW) [1a]. All of the problems must be solved in the same way as the problem of cancer, but on different temporal and spatial scales of application: reducing the O2/CO2 ratio in the atmosphere from the current ≈ 600 to values optimal for all living matter, ≈1÷4, which corresponds to concentrations of O2 = 13–15% and CO2 = 6–8%; the reduction in the O?/CO? ratio must be accompanied by an enhanced effect of the Earth’s electric field on the human body. During this transition, Human will undergo an inevitable transformation from the species Homo sapiens to a species of autotrophic mammal that has never before existed in nature - Homo diuviventium. The inevitability ([3:41]) and approximate time of the emergence of the autotrophic mammal – Human - as a result of the evolution of the biosphere were predicted in the 1920-1930s by Soviet academician V. I. Vernadsky (“hardly later than the time of our grandchildren” [4:338]; i.e., around 2005 [7:117]), but he did not specify how this transformation would occur.  According to the supposed discovery, such a transformation will result from the spread of a method for eliminating cancer and the risk of its occurrence throughout the Biosphere. This course of events is evolutionarily predetermined and therefore does not depend on whether or not humans choose to follow this path.  The directionality of the evolutionary process and the possibility of predicting its outcomes are substantiated by the evolutionary theory of nomogenesis developed by Soviet academician L.S. Berg [1a: thesis 6]. If humans resist (for example, by attempting to reduce atmospheric CO2 concentrations) or simply remain inactive, the processes of genetic transformation (cancerogenesis) will be prolonged, increasing human suffering. The Superorganism will counter such human attempts by increasing the GW through forest fires, which reduce the O2/CO2 ratio. Thus, the “natural solution to the problem of cancer” may turn out to be more harmful to humans than cancer itself. In this regard, humanity’s task is to help nature accomplish this transition and, in doing so, shorten its duration. This can be achieved by a) conducting a proof-of-concept experiment; and b) if the experiment yields positive results, applying the proposed method for eliminating cancer to the entire Biosphere.
